Important Information

01
Appointments
& Cancellations

Life gets busy and we understand that things come up. If you can’t make your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the time to someone else.

We ask for at least 2 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. If we don’t receive notice in time, a Did Not Attend fee (equal to the standard consult fee) will apply.

If you’re running late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment so we can stay on time for everyone.

Thank you for helping us keep appointments available for those who need them.

02
Payment, Fees & Southern Cross

To keep things running smoothly, appointments are pre-paid.

Consultation fees vary depending on the type and complexity of the visit. If you have more than one concern, we recommend booking a double appointment so we can give you the time you need. Fees are the same for both in-person and telehealth appointments.

Additional services such as nursing care, procedures, driver’s licence medicals, and travel consultations will incur separate charges.

For Southern Cross Insurance holders, we can claim instantly for you at the clinic.

We understand that healthcare costs can add up. If you need help with fees, please let us know. We offer support and flexible payment options for patients who need it.

If an account becomes overdue, a $10 monthly administration fee will apply.

Please ask our staff if you have any questions about charges for your visit. You can also view our full fees schedule.

03
Test Results & Follow-Up

We will contact you if any results need urgent attention or further follow-up. For routine results, we will not contact you directly, so we encourage you to stay involved in your own health and check your results online if you’re unsure.

You can view your results anytime through the MyIndici patient portal or app, giving you easy, secure access to your health information whenever it suits you. If you need help accessing MyIndici, our team is happy to assist.

04
Repeat Prescriptions

Please order repeat prescriptions through the MyIndici app or patient portal.

Some regular medications may be refilled without a medical check-up. However, repeat prescriptions may be declined if you haven’t seen your doctor in the past 6 months, as this helps ensure safe and appropriate ongoing care.

Prescription requests are carefully reviewed, including your medical history, blood tests, specialist letters, and any overdue health checks or vaccinations.

Please allow up to 2 business days for processing. We aim to complete requests sooner where possible. Requests made on Fridays will be ready by Tuesday.

If you require an urgent prescription, please let us know at the time of request. An additional $10 urgent processing fee applies.

You will receive a notification via email or the MyIndici app once your prescription has been sent to your chosen pharmacy. If a prescription cannot be issued for clinical or safety reasons, you will also be notified.

05
Respectful Care

We love caring for people, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. We ask for the same respect in return.

We may not be able to continue care in situations where there is disrespectful, unsafe, threatening, or abusive behaviour. We reserve the right to decline providing services in these situations.

06
Use of AI

To support your clinician to focus more on you during your appointment while ensuring accurate and efficient clinical documentation, we use a secure AI-assisted tool called Heidi AI to help generate consultation notes.

This means an AI system is used to assist your clinician in documenting your visit, helping ensure your medical record is complete and up to date. Your clinician always reviews and approves all notes before they are saved in your medical record.

All information is handled securely and remains confidential in line with New Zealand privacy and health information standards. If you have any questions or would prefer not to have AI-assisted note-taking used during your consultation, please let us know.
